Took this up because this is so rare and the English audio version is cropped and censored. There are scenes which were cut from the English release and as such will transition to Japanese audio for that section. The background score are different for the Japanese and English dubs. Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer was mandatory reading for one of my high school classes. There was a lot of dialect which is offensive by today's standards, but a window into society of the past. The only reason the book hasn't been banned, is because its level of offensiveness is less than its value as a tool to establish a very real narrative of past oppression. Which is why the whiny regarded woke left doesn't complain about the book remaining on the bookshelf, although they will make up for it during the remainder of the day by being offended by literally everything, while being completely intolerant of speech that doesn't align with their own world view. "We are so tolerant," while banning everyone that doesn't pass their hive-mind purity tests.
